The Hot 2 Trot 4H Club is a club with an equestrian interest. Most of our members do have their own horse, however horse ownership is not a club requirement. The club meets the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in Pine Ridge Estates. The club members will be making equestrian scrapbooks to enter in the County Fair. Guest speakers will be scheduled throughout the year to discuss topics such as Roberts Rules, veterinary care, horse shoeing, showing etc. We have also discussed a possible field trip to the Ocala Veterinary Hospital. In addition to our horse activities our club has been very active in community minded activities. Some things we have done in the past are the planting of a butterfly garden, a video drive for Shands Hospital Pediatric Ward, we adopted a needy family during the Christmas Holiday as well as built and installed owl boxes in the community. Our club is still open for new members. Contact Bridget Imparato at 352-746-5875 for directions.
