Well we finally made it. On Monday at around noon my fuel pump went at exactly the same time my oil cooler blew a gasket. We had to get towed to a diesel repair shop and our "Angel" cowboy that came to the rescue for the horse trailer put us up for the night, drove us to the hotel and picked us up the next day while the truck was repaired. We were back on the road Tuesday at 1 p.m. and arrived in Saugerties at 7 p.m. We unloaded and got everything set up and got to dinner at 9 p.m. Bonnie and John got here the same time as us and were a big help in unloading. Ashley Rioux made it up as well and as always is a pleasure to have around. Her horse is arriving this afternoon.  Mike and John have already practiced today and Ashley will practice as soon as her horse shows up. There are signs up that say this event is live on the Internet at www.productionseast.com I don't have any details but you can log on and see what it is all about. Mike

Our trip to New York was pleasant today. We are laid over for the night in Petersburg, Va. The horses are resting comfortably and will have a chance to catch up on their fluid intake. On Monday we have abou an 8 hour day.

I will blog again as soon as possible.

We arrived home late last night from Virginia. We are thrilled to announce that Michael and Solomon were able to pull off the "REPEAT". They were the 4H Southern Region (which is made up of 13 states) Open Jumper Champion and Equitation Over Fences Champion. He beat out 95 other riders for the equitation title and 30 riders in the Jumpers. The pair also took a 6th in Hunter Over fences.  We have a few more schooling shows over the next few weeks and then it is off to Saugerties, N.Y. for the Marshall and Sterling Finals.
